What.
A pop-up coworking community for comic book creators.
59 days of access, available five days a week. A production intensive for mid-career comics artists and writers, in one shared space.

NVRLND. arts foundation
1048 21 Ave SE, Calgary, AB
The basement.
When.
November 15, 2026- February 15, 2027
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
10 am – 2 pm, 4 – 8 pm
Thursday/Saturday
12 – 4 pm

Cost:
Total cost of all 59 days is $600. That comes to about $10 a day.
They have support such as instalment plans and sponsorship.
Important dates:
Move in starts on November 15. Launch is November 23. Move out by February 15.
How to get in
There is limited room in this pilot iteration. The group will be choosing participants based on the following questions:
1. Why are you interested in being a part of this experiment and what could you bring to make it even more fabulous?
2. How often do you expect to make it into the space each week?
3. What project would you work on during these three months, and what do you hope to have accomplished by the end of it?
